Rock Climbing! Well we couldn't come all the way to Arizona and not do some climbing. Especially since there isn't any paddling around. When there is no water you might as well Go Climb A Rock.
The main place to climb around Tuscon is Mt Lemmon, but the locals say it's too cold in the winter because of it's elevation. So we asked the experts at the local gym "Rocks and Ropes" and they directed us to some good bouldering sites by Gates Pass, just down the road from us.
When we got to the boulders, if it hadn't of been for a couple that was already there top roping we never would have know that some of the sites are bolted on top. So we set up our rope and up we went.
Climbing, climbing climbing....... p.s. it's hard to take photos when one person is climbing and the other belaying, so here are the bouldering shots.
